Llewellyn Dogs patrolling penitentiary at 14 years.

These two amazing animals guarded a maximum security penitentiary for many yeas, until they were12 and 14 years of age.
There were younger Llewellyn replacements ready to take their place, but they just didn't want to retire, and every vet check proved they were as capable as a two-year-old.
The female retired at 13. The male, (inset) retired at 15 and died just before his 16th birthday from a tumor.
