Another Llewellyn First!
In the late '70's, Llewellyn trained a number of dogs
to detect drugs in Canada's penitentiaries.
Since then, Llewellyn has provided the service for governments and
for the private sector.
Llewellyn dogs are trained to detect minute quantities of an
extremely wide range of such substances as marijuana, hashish, cocaine,
crack, heroin, pharmaceuticals, as well as alcohol. The dogs can pinpoint
areas where drugs have been stored, even when the substance is no longer
there.
Searches can be conducted overtly, to emphasize a corporation's "Zero
Tolerance" policy; or in total secrecy, during closing hours. All searches
are performed within Canadian Law, no "rights" are violated.
Crossing the Border? ...did you know?
Cars, trucks, boats, planes crossing the border into the united States are
subject to US Zero tolerance laws, which, in layman's terms, provides that
both vehicle and cargo are subject to confiscation if:
(1) Even a small amount of contraband substance is found, and
(2) The owner cannot prove that reasonable measures were taken to ensure
that their property is drug-free.
Llewellyn performs vehicle, ship, container and cargo searches.
Consultation
Llewellyn provides assistance with the preparation, implementation, and
operation of an anti-drug policy for your workplace.
